What is a digital perm?

According to Wikipedia...

A digital perm is a perm which uses hot rods with the temperature regulated by a machine, which has a digital display, hence the name. However, the process of the perm is quite analogous. The name “Digital Perm” is also copyrighted by a Japanese company, PAIMORE Co., Ltd.[1] Hair stylists usually call it a “hot perm”, but it is commonly known as a “digital perm”. This type of perm was developed in Korea.

Whats the difference between a normal perm and a digital perm?

The biggest difference between other perms and a digital perm is the shape and the texture of the wave created by the digital process.

A normal perm, or a “cold perm”, makes the wave most prominent when the hair is wet, and loose when it is dry. The hair tends to look moist and as locks.

A digital perm makes the wave most prominent when the hair is dry, and loose when it is wet. Therefore you can create the dry and curly look of the curl iron or the hot curler. The digital perm requires heat, so it is also called a “hot perm” in comparison to the “cold per

All the movies that i've seen directed by Hayao Miyazaki are amazing! His latest one is "Ponyo on the cliff by the sea," and it was super cute! I wouldn't mind watching it again and i'm definitely buying it on dvd.

second week

Sheesh, it's the second week of school and i'm already getting my butt kicked. I'm behind in one of my classes which is the most important one of all! I'm still in my summer mode, you know me sleeping in, drinking coffee late afternoon and playing video games or watching TV. I need to fix that.

What's more important? Finishing Zelda or reading the first two chapters of my psychology stats book? :X

I need to balance my life again......

My brother's friend did that and he can solve it the other way too. I choose not to learn because I don't think I have the patience for that. I'll just get mad at myself! haa!

summer is over.

I'll be going back to school on monday which sucks blue balls! I have to say that this has been one of the best summers i've ever had. It's probably because I went to hawaii which was the only highlight of my summer. I kind of forgot what else I did besides summer school.

I still miss my mini vacay even though my skin is still peeling and I got super dark but I would go again :)

Mary(lefinewhine) made all these videos during our hawaii trip, this one that i'm posting are all the bloopers that didn't make it in the other videos. enjoy! I still laugh at all of them everytime I watch them.



Now i'm home watching Dhony play Tekken, such a nice way to end the summer.
